The department is proud of our many alumni, over 1300 M.P.A. graduates total, who hold a wide variety of positions throughout the nation. Of this number, there are many serving West Virginia in state, regional, county, and local government.
Graduates serve as city managers in West Virginia and other states, budget examiners at the state and federal levels, administrative assistants in diverse agencies, healthcare administrators, officials with many types of substantive responsibilities, personnel analysts, purchasing officers, teachers, and researchers.
The department provides career development assistance to students through individual advising, resume development, interviewing skills, and sharing job openings.
