Graduate Programs
The Division of Public Administration offers three distinct graduate programs:
- The fully accredited Master of Public Administration program.
- The Master of Legal Studies Program
- The Healthcare Administration program (which is both an MPA specialization or a free-standing graduate certificate).
In addition, the Division offers programs in cooperation with other units at West Virginia University. These inlcude:
- A dual degree Master of Public Administration (MPA) and Doctor of Jurisprudence (JD) program (in cooperation with the College of Law).
- A dual degree Master of Public Administration (MPA) / Master of Social Work (MSW) program (in cooperation with the Division of Social Work).
- A Non-Profit Management graduate certificate and specialization (offered through the Division of Social Work).
- An MPA specialization in Cultural Resource Management (offered through the Cultural Resource Management Program).
- Individually designed dual degrees (in conjunction with other graduate programs).
- Focus areas that develop an important topical area to public administration.
