The internship is a critical component of the MPA experience. The internship provides an opportunity for students to develop skills and learn from practical experiences. Additionally, interns make valuable contributions to the mission of the host organization and the constituents they serve. MPA students must complete six credit hours of PUBA 751: Public Service Internship and complete 500 contact hours during the internship placement.
