MPA Students Participate in International Policy Competition

Congratulations to the three MPA students, Leah Cunningham, Sam Richardson, and Courtni Helmick, who participated in the second annual NASPAA/Batten Policy Simulation Competition. During the daylong competition for graduate students at NASPAA schools to work together to solve a complex public policy problem by using a simulation. The simulation emulates the process of solving real world problems while offering a distinctive experience to students. Food Security was this year’s global simulation competition theme — a fundamental aspect of the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) “to end hunger, achieve food security, improve nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture by 2030.” NASPAA Simulation
