MPA Professional Development Day Washington, DC was a success. On October 10, 25 MPA students and 2 faculty journey to Washington DC to meet with Senators Manchin’s and Capito’s staff, toured the Capitol, and participated in MPA Alumni panel on Government Relations and Public Policy. The students came back transformed, commenting on how they now see the positive impact of public service and the connection between federal, state, and local policies.
50th MPA Anniversary Colloquium & Banquet scheduled for Saturday May 2, 2020
in Morgantown. Please mark your calendars and join us at WVU to
reconnect with faculty, alumni, and meet current students. We will host a
Colloquium and an evening Banquet sharing our favorite memories from each of the
five decades of the WVU MPA.
Do you want to make an immediate impact on
#WVU and its future? Wednesday November 13 is
#WVUDayofGiving. We invite you to cultivate the next generation of public service
professionals by supporting the
MPA Student Enrichment Fund. This Fund has supported student involvement
in
international policy competitions and
community development with West Virginia towns. Your generous support
to expand experiential opportunities, action research projects, and internship
experiences is critical.
Please keep in touch and I will continue to provide updates throughout the year.
Let’s Go!
