Frederick Dimichele, JD, PhD

Frederick J. Dimichele teaches Criminal Law and Procedure within the Master of Legal Studies Program.  Dimichele’s professional experience includes having served as a federal officer with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), since 2008.  He has served in various capacities in the federal service, including as an adjudicator, a fraud and national security officer, and as a basic training instructor.  He is currently assigned to USCIS Headquarters, Field Operations.

Dimichele is a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington School of Law and is licensed to practice law in Delaware and Pennsylvania.  He also holds a PhD in General Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Public Administration from University of Illinois-Springfield, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Alabama.  In addition to teaching and federal service, he maintains a small private civil law practice.
